This new exhibit traces the colorful past of croquet. It contains the most extensive collection of printed croquet documents in the nation. This unique collection forms the basis for an exclusive exhibit examining the history of croquet during its 19th Century heyday. President Hayes and his family were avid players of this family lawn sport that is finding new popularity in the 21st Century.

Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger

This summer's Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic is expected to draw a field that includes most of the top players in the LPGA. Tournament organizers said this week that 22 of the current top 25 money leaders are intending to play in the 26th annual event, to be held July 1-4 at Highland Meadows. Various activities are scheduled for the three days preceding Thursday's first round. Those expecting to enter the $1 million-purse tournament include: Paula Creamer, Lorena Ochoa, Morgan Pressel, Cristie Kerr, Natalie Gulbis, Juli Inkster, Suzanne Petterson and Se Ri Pak. Tournament proceeds will be distributed to 11 northwest Ohio children's charities.
