I was fishing down at the open cove on Bayshore Road. That cove is in Oregon, Oh, about a mile from Maumee Bay Resort. I was reeling in my line, and up came with two Channel Fish on the same hook.

I was out fishing on Lake Erie soon after breaking my arm. I accidently dropped my fishing pole into the water and dove into the lake to retrieve it. Much to my surprise, there was fish on the hook when I got the pole back.

I was a fishing at Olander Park. And my pole went out in the water like a hound after a fox I jumped into the water a low and behold it felt like there was a whale on my line the pole really bent into I said "oh my." I pulled in a 32" northern pike I just took some picture and let it be free what amazing story.

My Friends Tom, Dave and I were fishing off Grassy Island at the mouth of the Maumee River when one of my two fishing poles lept into the water presumably from a fish strike. Much to our chagrin and surprise, another cast and reel in brought the line, to which first the pole came in and as I was shaking the water out of the reel and dislodging some moss and other water vegetation, I felt a strong pull on the fishing line, pulled the line in and a HUGE carp came flippin and splashing in. Now THAT was one of the best fights ever, those Lake Erie carp are justl like mini submarines! True Story!

I took my sons fishing on a headboat charter out of Port Clinton. Everybody put in a dollar for whoever caught the biggest fish. My 12 year old son told me to put in a dollar. He ended up catching the biggest walleye and he won enough money to pay for the trip!

I was fishing for perch with a spreader when something big hit-had two walleyes on instead of perch. Get the net!

Last year I caught a sturgen about 4 feet long in Lake Erie. We had it stuffed and ate it for dinner.

I was fishing a small pond with a rattle trap I hooked into a fish and thought it was big but I had two 12 inch bass on each hook

One day I was fishing with my dad when all the sudden my dad's bobber went down as he reeled it in and saw what kind of fish it was. He got the net and picked it up, it was a catfish!!! He got the hook out. I looked at my bobber where I cast it and then saw it come up and started to move all around the pond. I reeled it in. It took minutes for it to give up and it finally did. It was a 20lb. Two mins later I caught two bass. Then I was so so soo tired.

Many yrs ago I learned a unique less about catfish, and I often wonder how many others have done the same thing "or should I say"made the same mistake" I had been fishing in a pond at the old brewery at Milan, Ohio and I caught a really nice catfish, on trying to remove the hook I had put my forfinger into the fish's mouth,"BIG MISTAKE" it clamped down on my finger and do to its multiple rows of teeth "I COULD NOT GET LOOSE" I was running up and down the bank scared to death, "WHILE MY FRIENDS"? were rolling on the ground in laughter ,!! true story

When I was fishing in lake erie i caught a 5 in perch!!!

Last Saturday 4/28/07 I was fishing near Kelly's Island and Land the biggest smallmouthbass I ever caught. It weighed 7.15 lbs. and 23'' long. If this fish would have been a female full of eggs instead of a male it would have been over nine pounds near the state record. What a fish!

I was wading for walleye,I was about middle of the maumee river in Perrysburg,I had two walleye on my stringer,and I lost my last lure to a snag.To my surprise at the same retrieve,I reeled in a lure attached to my line.Within fife three minuets I caught my next two,and limit with the luckey lure.
