The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to visit historic Grand Rapids, Ohio, located on the scenic Maumee River just 25 miles southwest of Toledo.

Take a stroll along the old canal towpath for a picturesque view of the "grand rapids" of the Maumee River, ride an authentic mule-drawn canal boat - the Volunteer, visit a restored water-powered saw and gristmill, camp, picnic, fish, or water-ski at Mary Jane Thurston State Park and Marina. Several special events highlight the year in Grand Rapids including the Spring Flood Watch, Rapids Rally Days, Community Garage Sale, Sunset Jazz & Art Festival, Canal Days, Applebutter Festival, All Hallows Fest, Christmas Open House, The Easter Celebration, and The Lost Arts Festival.
