Knitting Be TWEEN the Ages

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Heatherdowns Branch Library, 3265 Glanzman Rd, is calling on all experienced adult knitters and tweens (9-13-years-old) for intergenerational knitting.  The purpose of this series, Knitting Be TWEEN the Ages , is to encourage literacy and intergenerational mentorship through knitting.

The series is scheduled to take place weekly from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning January 7 through March 25. This series will be conducted in association with the Toledo Branch of the American Association of University Women .

Yarn and knitting patterns supplied but please bring your own needles. Each tween new to knitting will learn to read a basic pattern with assistance of an experienced knitter.
