Fossil Fest

The annual Fossil Fest returns to the Downtown Sylvania area, with truckloads of Devonian shale on-site direct from the working quarries of Hanson Aggregates Midwest, Inc. Dig for buried treasure and keep all the fossils you find, with geologists there to help identify what you unearth. Events include the “Dino Egg Run” and “Dino Run,” children’s carnivaltype games, food vendor, and Toledo Gem & Rockhound Club displays and demonstrations.
